Flexitech is proud to announce that three members of our staff completed the ‘100 Km in 30 Days’ challenge programme. This challenge is to raise funds for Breast Cancer Ireland. It was set up by Niall Carroll from Blackrock in 2014. His wife is undergoing treatment for breast cancer and they want to support Breast Cancer Ireland.
The 100k in 30 Days started off as a fun-based, neighbourhood event, in Blackrock village, Co. Louth in 2012. The event was created to encourage some healthy competition and activity amongst locals in the community.
The Funds raised have made a massive difference to Research Trials, Education & Awareness Programmes and funding countrywide research nurses. For more information about this challenge programme, please visit their website: www.100kin30days.ie
