Sheet metal manufacturer expands operations as part of €2m investment to increase production capacity
Flexitech are pleased to announce they have recently expanded operations in Dundalk with the acquisition of a second production facility. Doubling production capacity from 30,000 square feet to 60,000 sq. ft the new facility will provide Flexitech with a much greater manufacturing capability to house their latest assembly plant.
This is the second expansion of Flexitech in less than 3 years and this trajectory is expected to continue. Flexitech are scaling for Global Export, already servicing customers the US, Germany, and UK. Flexitech have gained a reputation within the Hyperscale and Utility Market for exceeding Industry Standards.
This €2m investment represents a continued commitment to ensuring production capacity exceeds client expectations now and into the future and is part of the overall long- term investment plan. The expansion will bring the fabrication and assembly of their innovative Research and Development prototyping plant, along with housing global office functions.

Our production capacity will double and our new sheet metal and copper fabrication output, reducing lead times and increasing capacity for assembly. With a state-of-the-art powder coating paint facility installed and an extensive range of CNC machinery, complimented with a strong Engineering Design Team, Flexitech are ready for substantial growth.
Flexitech have welcomed on board several new customers from the Utility and Medtech Industry sector during the pandemic, primarily driven by our sustainable supplies, reduced lead times and quality components.
COVID challenged Flexitech to explore new ways to reduce production costs and we have been fortunate in the fact that we’ve been able to help through the provision of new manufacturing processes and product development.
In addition, Flexitech have also signed partnership agreements with Steel Suppliers, securing supply chains and retaining stock to maximise production output. It is expected 30+ New jobs will be created at the new facility.
